Hey Internet Friends,
Exam season is quickly approaching and so is the huge amount of revision, and seemingly never ending school work. Because of this, I'm guessing it's likely that a load of us will be starting to feel the stress, so today I will be sharing with you some top life tips to help you stay more relaxed and calm.
1) Try to embrace stress - use the stress to push yourself to be more productive.
2) Try to schedule what needs to be done to help stop procrastination.
3) Take time out to relax - yes getting work done is important but so is relaxation.
4) Drink plenty of water - dehydration will get you nowhere.
5) Try to keep work away from your relaxing space if possible - even if this is as simple as sitting in one room to study and relaxing in another.
Hope these are useful to some of you, any more tips feel free to let me know.

Life Tips
Hey Internet Friends,
So today I plan on sharing with you some of my top tips for everyday life.
1) Study Hard
Working hard in school helps set you up for life. That extra boost now is something that you'll be thankful for in the long run.
2) Prioritise
I am not particularly good at this one as I am forever getting distracted, but it's important to always try to prioritise your daily tasks in order to make the most of your time.
3) Tidy and stay organised
Tidy desk space is great for when you're working hard. It means you have more space and less distractions to worry about. By staying organised, you will always know where things are kept and so won't have to waste time searching for hours.
4) Relax
Relaxation is important to help your body restore itself, to provide you with energy later on so you don't get worn out.
5) Socialise
Spending time with people is a great way to de-stress and is an easy way to relax.
Hope these help.

Present Ideas
Hey Internet Friends,
So, Christmas is quickly approaching and so is the time to buy gifts for people. Here are a few ideas for different types of budgets.
Low Budget
One of my go-to presents for people this year is shortbread that I will bake myself to save money. It's simple to do and you can find the recipe here. If you're no good at baking or just don't have the time, festive tubes of chocolate are fairly cheap and are loved by most people.
Medium Budget
Things like bath products, makeup and body sprays always go down well as presents as they're so useful. Just make sure no one has any allergies to certain brands for things like makeup and bath products.
High Budget
I only tend to spend large amounts on close family members and often buy clothes, jewellery or watches. These types of gifts are quite personal so I'd advise only buying them for someone whose likes you know incredibly well.
Hope this helps some of you out.

Favourite Hair Styles
Hey Internet Friends,
Today I thought I'd share with you my favourite go-to hairstyles for everyday.
I always love a classic high ponytail. Sleek and sophisticated, this minimal effort style always looks great. This tends to be my go-to style if I'm running late for something or just can't be bothered to put too much effort into doing my hair.
Recently, I have been putting my hair in a bun a lot. Buns are so versatile and can be put on the top, back or side of your head. They can easily be accessorised with bows or be made to look cute and messy.
Another go-to hair style of mine is plaits. Again, they're so easy to style in a variety of ways as there is so many different types of plaits. If you are struggling to do them, there are tons of YouTube tutorials to help you out.
A final one of my favourite hair styles is the half-up, half-down one as it's just so simple and perfect for adding a bit of volume to your do. It also really helps keep your hair out of your face as well as helping to frame it.
So, what are your favourite hair styles? What hairstyles do you choose on a daily basis? Let me know by commenting or through social media (links on my contact me page).

Tips For Going Back to School
Hey Internet Friends,
So the time has come when the summer holidays are almost over and it's nearly time to go back to school. But don't panic; I'm here with my top tips for going back to school.
One thing I find helps me with school is packing my bag the night before. I also get out my clothes and shoes the night before so I don't have to run around trying to find everything right before I need to leave. This way I can stay much more relaxed in the morning.
Another thing I find helps me is colour-coding my timetable and keeping a copy at home as well as at school. This way it's so much simpler to know what lessons you have at a quick glance.
I have a weekly plan that I fill in with what homework I need to do and when to ensure I don't miss deadlines and limit stress. This also helps me schedule days where I can relax or go out with friends.
Finally, I like to have these stationary items either at home or with me at school in my pencil case as they always come in handy:

- Pencils (Coloured and grey)
- Highlighters

- Pencil Sharpener
- Sticky notes
- Glue stick
- Stapler
- Hole punch
I hope that helps those of you preparing to go back to school.

How to cope with waiting for Results Day
Hey Internet Friends,
So, now exams are all over, what do you do while waiting these two never ending months for results day? Here are some of my tips and ideas.
One thing I've done is create a list of everything I want/need to get done while I have time off. From organising my room, to getting rid of old revision and taking up a new hobby, making sure my time is full is a brilliant way of keeping me distracted so I don't get as worried or stressed.
Another thing you can do is make plans with friends and family. Days out will again keep you distracted as well as give you something fun to do. Going shopping or going to the cinema are both great ideas as they keep you out of the house.
Finally, you can read a load of books, watch a TV series and/or watch a bunch of films you've always wanted to in order to help you chill out and stay relaxed. Time off is perfect for this and you deserve to relax after all the exam stress.
So, what are you doing to help you cope with pre-results stress? Have these ideas helped?

How to help with panic attacks
Hey Internet Friends,
Okay so I thought I'd share with you something I feel is very important. As a person who suffers with panic attacks, I know how frustrating it is when people tell you to "just calm down" or "stop worrying". So, here are some ways you can either help yourself or someone else who suffers with panic attacks.
First of all, make a note of days where you are either anxious or panicky. This might help you notice a pattern in when the attacks occur and so help you to prepare more for when they come. Like me, you may also struggle to find a pattern in them but sometimes it helps so you can keep track of when you get better or worse.
Secondly, take up a hobby to keep yourself busy on days where you don't feel too good. If, like me, you struggle to find the will or determination to do a hobby when you're down, talk about how you're feeling instead with someone close to you.
Thirdly, if you are with someone and they are having a panic attack, please under no circumstances ever tell them to "just calm down" as this can be very frustrating to a person as they will physically struggle to get over the attack. They are a horrible thing to experience so gently ask if there's anything you can do to help. If you know them well, maybe give them a hug. Reassure them that it'll pass and that everything will be okay. Giving them a glass of water also helps. Make sure you don't make them feel as though they're wasting you're time as this may just make it worse.
If you have any other tips or any questions about panic attacks, feel free to either comment on this post or contact me either through email or social media (all contact information can be found on the Contact Me page).

Top Tips - How to Prepare for Exams
Hey Internet Friends,
Most of you (I'm guessing) will have exams approaching like me, so here are my top tips on how to prepare for exams.
First of all, create a revision timetable. Make sure it's realistic so you stick to it. Leave plenty of time for breaks as it's impossible to learn everything in huge chunks.
Secondly, make sure you sleep well. Be active during the day and go to bed when you're tired. Try not to stay up too late as you need plenty of rest.
My third tip is to keep hydrated when revising. You won't be able to concentrate properly if you're becoming dehydrated.
Finally, spend breaks doing things you love and treat yourself after exams.
Good Luck!

Thoughtful Thursday - School Pressure
Hey Internet Friends,
So, it's getting to that time of year (if you're in a year group that has to do exams) where suddenly all your deadlines for things like coursework have appeared right in front of you. All you're teachers are expecting things from you and want you to prioritise their subject. How do you deal with this?
1) Plan ~ Keep a diary or calendar nearby at all times so you can note down all your exams and deadlines. Then, create timetables for each day with what you need to get done. If you struggle to stick to timings, just create a to-do list each day. This ensures you don't forget anything and don't leave it till last minute.
2) Breaks ~ You must give yourself time off. You can't expect to get a ton of work done in a single day. Break it up and you'll find it all so much easier to manage. During breaks do things you enjoy.
3) Mindfulness ~ If you are a particularly anxious or stressed person, try mindfulness. I have created a post about it before (click here) as I found it something that has really helped me cope with stress.
Hope this has helped some of you. Anything else that helps some of you, let me know through social media or below in the comments.

Easter Decorations
Hey Internet Friends,
So, Easter is quickly approaching us this year and is much earlier than usual. So to help you prepare, today's post is about different types of decorations you can make!
1) Bunny Bunting
First, either find a bunny template online or draw your own. Cut this out several times on paper or card and decorate. Then, glue on a pom-pom for a tail. Next, hole punch either side of the bunnies and attach together using string or ribbon. Hang up and enjoy your bunting!
2) Paper Mache Egg
First of all, blow up a balloon roughly to the size you want your egg to be. Then stick ripped up pieces of newspaper to it using PVA glue. When the entire balloon is covered in a couple of layers, leave to dry. Once dry, pop the balloon and remove from the egg if possible. Decorate the egg however you want.
3) Easter tree
Find some sticks and twigs (preferably some with branches). Knock out any insects and then arrange in a vase. Hang Easter decorations off the branches and you're done! This works really well as a centrepiece for a table.
4) Hanging Eggs
Cut out several egg shapes from paper or card. Decorate using anything you want. Next, hole punch the top and loop through some ribbon. Finally, hang your Easter eggs from the ceiling.
Hope these suggestions have given you some inspiration. Still stuck? Websites like Etsy and Pinterest are brilliant for even more ideas!

Valentine's Gift Ideas
Hi Internet Friends!
February. The month of Valentine's Day. Some love it, some loath it. If you're in need of some gift ideas for your loved one, then you're in the right place.
First of all, traditional gifts. These are the ones that loads of people buy but there's clearly a reason for this. They are all cute. You could buy your loved one their favourite chocolate or flowers. You could buy them a cute teddy or a nice photo frame and insert a picture of you and them in it. A finally traditional idea is, if you have been with your partner for a long time, you may want to propose! Valentine's is always a perfect day to do this.
Next, we have useful gifts. If you don't feel like being too soppy, then useful gifts are perfect for you. You could buy them a phone case it headphones or maybe even a jewellery holder. Something functional that they can actually use and will last a while so they have a constant reminder of you.
Finally, unique gifts are always a good idea. One thing you could do is bake them their favourite meal or snack (like cookies). It's a simple way to show how much you care. Other unique gifts are those that mean something to you both. You could buy an item of jewellery and get your names engraved on it, buy a personalised mug or maybe even a plaque with your names on.
I hope this post has inspired some of you and helped you work out what you're going to buy your Valentine this year.

Thoughtful Thursday - Mindfulness
Hi Internet Friends,
Today Thoughtful Thursday is about something I only recently discovered. Mindfulness. I was in a shop one day and my Dad noticed a book called 'Mindfulness on the go' by Padraig O'Morain. After reading the blurb, I discovered mindfulness is brilliant to help you stay calm. Just perfect for someone like me.
So, what actually is mindfulness? Well, it's basically the practise of constantly returning your attention to what is going on/what you are doing, hence making you more aware of what's going on around you and less on worrying thoughts and feelings. Mindfulness has many benefits. It's really simple to incorporate into your everyday life, helps with stress, anxiety and worrying thoughts, helps you gain more control over your thoughts, and finally it helps you control your emotions a bit more which can help add stability to your feelings. It's brilliant for a hectic lifestyle as it helps you stay in control.
As I mentioned earlier, the way I discovered mindfulness was through the book 'Mindfulness on the go' by Padraig O'Morain. I fell in love with this book whilst reading it and it's now my essential go-to book when I feel anxious. This book helped make me aware of so many different mindfulness practises, all which are incredibly simple to do whilst living my everyday life, without it being obvious to others. It gave me an understanding of what mindfulness is and how it can benefit me. There are so many different tips and ideas in this book for so many occasions I would most definitely recommend reading it. A final brilliant thing about this book is that you don't have to read it all in one go or in any particular order. If you need to learn some mindfulness tips for relationships for example, you just turn to that chapter and at the end there's several pages with different activities you can do.
The book also recommends some websites and some of these are below so you too can begin to look into mindfulness and help make your daily life slightly easier.
www.padraigomorain.com (here you can sign up for a free newsletter and free daily mindfulness reminders and quotes, as well as find books and other useful resources).
If you didn't know anything about mindfulness or have heard about it and not looked into it further, I hope this post helps introduce you to such an amazing practise and helps you deal with life's daily stresses and worries.

Top Tips for Perfect Makeup
Hey Internet Friends,
A few weeks ago, I had a poll on my blog asking people to vote for what they wanted to see next and Top Tips won. Thank you to anyone who voted, it really helps me out. Back to the post. Makeup can quite often be awkward a or difficult to apply nicely so here are my top tips to getting your makeup perfect!
Firstly, whenever you apply makeup, you should always try to go so in natural lighting as this help make any errors obvious. If you use bad lighting, you may not notice these errors and may end up with patchy makeup.
My second tip is to try and keep your brushes nice by cleaning them regularly. Makeup easily builds up in them and so it's best to give them a good wash every now and then. Foundation brushes tend to get the worst. If too much foundation builds up in them, you can't use them to apply your foundation as nicely. I prefer to use makeup sponges as they are more affordable and easier to keep clean.
The next tip on my list is to always apply moisturiser before applying any makeup. It helps keep your skin soft, works as a great base and helps prevent skin from dehydrating and drying out.
My final tip is for super long lashes. If you have a slightly smaller budget, you can still use slightly cheaper mascaras to get amazingly long lashes. All you need to do is use eyelash curlers first! Eyelash curlers can be bought very cheaply and do an amazing job at making your eyelashes look so much longer!
Hope these help!

Top Tips - Back to school
Hey Internet Friends!

As I am going back to school next week, and I'm sure most of you will be as well, I thought I'd give you some top tips for going back to school.
First of all, you should always get your bag ready the night before so you don't have to rush around panicking in the morning. I'm a very stress person and this always helps me feel a bit better in the morning. On the topic of bags, I always like to pack a few extra things that always come in handy: anti bacterial hand gel, hair bands/bobbles/elastics, tampons/sanitary towels, hand cream, deodorant and a small amount of makeup. I find these things are always helpful to have as you never know when you'll need them!

My next top tip is that you should stay organised! It means you won't forget things as easily and you'll be in less of a stressful mess. I have calendars, to-do lists and sticky notes everywhere round my room while I'm at school. I like to highlight days off on my calendar so I can count down the days till I can chill out again!
Another top tip us to keep your room tidy! I recommend cleaning it at least once a week as it makes it easier to concentrate, meaning you can get homework completed much quicker. It's also good to reduce the amount of clutter you have in order to it easier to find what you want.

Finally, keep calm! If you are particularly stressy or have panic attacks (like me), yoga or regular exercise (like walking) is brilliant to help you reduce stress and just chill out more. Try to get as much fresh air as possible. Nice weather? Do your homework outside! It makes you feel so much better, rather than being cooped up inside all the time.
