Hey Internet Friends,
Let me start off by apologising that this post is up slightly late, I had some issues with my internet.
Today's post is about my Top 10 beauty brands. Now, these are in no particular order as there are different products I like from each.
The Body Shop - Brilliant for when you feel like treating yourself to some slightly more expensive products. The Body Shop is cruelty free which is amazing and makes it worth that little bit extra.
Pure Colour (New Look) - I absolutely adore the lashes and lipsticks from Pure Colour, as well as the eyeshadows. The quality is very high for such affordable products.
PS... - Amazing items at incredibly low prices, PS... is the beauty brand from Primark. My main go to is the false nails, however I have recently purchased some false lashes from there, as well as a lemon lip jelly (which is absolutely amazing and only costs £1).
Rimmel - Rimmel has such a vast range of products, all at affordable prices that are extremely high quality. My top Rimmel product is the Wake Me Up concealer, and is something I use every single day.
Natural Collection - I feel as though Natural Collection from Boots is such an underrated brand of makeup. It insanely affordable as well as being ideal for sensitive skin. I own multiple shades of lipsticks from Natural collection, as well as some of the eyeshadows and am incredibly impressed with the pigmentation. I currently use the Natural Collection Liquid Eye Liner which is brilliant and only cost me £1.99. Just as good as any other eyeliner I've tried and at least half the price.
Makeup Revolution - Makeup Revolution is incredibly amazing. The pigmentation of the eyeshadows is so good and again is an incredibly affordable brand. The new lip kits are absolutely gorgeous and sell out so quickly everywhere they are stocked.
W7 - Now, W7 is well know for holding dupes of so many top branded products, and works just as well. It won't break the bank yet still gives you the same quality as the high end brands that look incredibly similar.
NYX - How could I get through this list without mentioning NYX. The matte lip creams are so gorgeous and my only regret is not owning more of them. A little more expensive than some of the brands on this list but most definitely worth it.
L'Oréal -A much loved brand that I often splash out on is L'Oréal. If you just wanted to buy the one product from there, I'd highly recommend buying the Studio Secrets Professional smoothing resurfacing primer. Application is so smooth and it isn't horrible and sticky like I have found other primers to be. It really helps hold makeup in place without feeling too heavy on the skin.
Max Factor - The final brand on the list, Max Factor is one that I often go to for eyeshadows and mascaras, however I have recently purchased a new Max Factor foundation that I can't wait to try.
Hope you enjoyed,
Love and Hugs,

Summer
Hey internet friends,
So, the time has come and it's finally summer! I thought I'd share with you some of the basic things to help make your summer brilliant. Whether you're going away or staying at home, all these things will be perfect for your summer.
Clothes
One of my must have summer items is a playsuit; playsuit a are so easy to wear and can be bought anywhere in a variety of colours patterns and styles. Match up with a cute cardigan and comfy canvas shoes for the perfect summer look. Another thing I love to wear in summer is a maxi dress. These are perfect when the weather is slightly cooler as they keep your legs covered. They look ever so stylish and are again available in all kinds of colours and patterns.
Accessories
Something we all need in summer is sunglasses. My favourite type are round ones as they look cute with all sorts of boho outfits as well as some more punk style outfits. They suit so many people and are so easy to match with all outfits. Another summertime accessory you could buy is a flower crown if you are feeling particularly hippie.
Other
I always love to buy books for summer. It's so nice to sit out in the garden or on the beach and just relax reading a book. Getting books can be done very cheaply if you purchase them from a charity shop. It won't break the bank but also helps out others, bonus!
What do you guys like to buy during summer? What are your must haves? Let me know through social media or by commenting on a post.

Springtime buys
Hey Internet Friends,
So, we're in spring now so I thought I'd share with you some of my recent springtime buys!
The first thing I recently bought was a W7 Power Puff blender sponge. I picked this up from a W7 outlet store and so it was fairly cheap, however the RRP is £5.59 (but it's just £3.40 from Amazon). You dampen this sponge before use and I use it for my foundation each morning. It's amazing! It gives brilliant coverage without caking it on and so looks very natural.
The next thing I bought was a pair of boyfriend cut ripped jeans. As the weather is just starting to warm up, these are perfect for a stylish yet practical look. Along with the jeans, I bought a floral shirt, to add some colour to my wardrobe and get me feeling that springtime vibe. Again, I bought these from an outlet store so unfortunately I can't give you a link to them. However, there are tons of different styles of ripped jeans and shirts in quite a lot of clothes stores o you can easily find one to suit you.
I love books and I also love looking round charity shops, so this next item will be no surprise. I picked up a copy of 'Labyrinth' by Kate Mosse. The cover drew me to it and as I began reading the blurb I felt fascinated and so had to buy it! It's always nice to have a book to read, especially as the weather gets warmer so you can sit outside. I haven't began reading it yet but I will either post a review or post on social media about it when I have.
The next thing I bought was an app. Well, I say bought but it was actually free. It's a 30 Day Firm Butt Challenge which I thought would be perfect to help me get ready for summer! I have really enjoyed doing the challenges as it just takes about 5 minutes at the most each day and they aren't too strenuous. There's pictures and instructions to show you how to do each thing which I found incredibly helpful. You can also turn notifications on for this app so there's no excuse for forgetting!
The final thing I purchased was a Black Contrast Zip Pocket Structured Bag from New Look, which I am using everyday and absolutely loving. It has different zipped sections so you can keep things like your phone safe. I also love the fact that it has a strap to go across your body (which is removable), and handles so it's easy to carry in your preferred way. Due to it being black and cream, it goes with any outfit, making it a perfect go to bag.
So, what have you guys been buying recently? Has this given you some shopping inspiration? Either comment below or let me know in social media.

Late Night Writing
Hey Internet Friends,
This is something I wrote quite a while ago when I couldn't sleep. I hope you like it. Feel free to give me any comments (positive or negative) about what you think and how I could improve it.

Late at night she gazes through the
window, marvelling at the beauty speckled in the sky. They appear
dainty, delicate and dazzling but are really giant, burning, masses of
gas. Safe: the feeling she gets as she surveys the night sky above her.
People say we are all made of stars. She loves the idea of this; the
fact we're all created from something of beauty. Perchance it represents
the good in everyone, the belief that everyone has the power to be
happy, pleasant and caring. Maybe it's the reason why she feels at home
whenever she sees the jewels in the sky. Or perhaps it's just a nice
thought that fills her with hope.
Either way, the night sky is a magical mystery that hold so many hopes and dreams.

Favourite Beauty Products 2
Hey Internet Friends,
A fortnight ago I posted a Favourite Beauty Products post on this blog. I absolutely loved writing it and so promised another one. So here it is!
Lip Liner & Lipstick
I love using lip liner as is can help shape your lips to how you'd like them to look, as well as help them look larger. I always try to use one that is as similar to my lipstick as possible. It's no surprise that I use a Lip liner and Lipstick from New Look, both in the shade Camel. This nude lipstick still helps add colour to your makeup but without being too over the top and so it matches with most outfits, as well as other makeup. The lip liner costs just £1.99 and the lipstick just £3.99 which I think is a brilliant price for such high quality products.

Contour, Highlight and Blush
I've always used blusher, especially since I'm quite pale as it helps add colour and warmth to your face, but it's not been until recently that I have also started to contour and highlight my face. I love it! You can make certain features stand out and emphasise what you have. You can also create the illusion that your face is slimmer.
The blusher I use is a Natural Collection blusher from Boots in the shade Peach Melba. It only costs £1.99 and so is incredibly cheap, however it's incredibly pigmented and lasts such a long time.
For contouring and highlighting, I use the Makeup Revolution Sculpt and Contour kit which can be purchased from Superdrug for £3.50. It does come with a blusher, however I much prefer my one from Natural Collection.
Nail Varnish
I love wearing nail varnish as you can change it to match different aspects of your appearance and colour co-ordinate it with your favourite lippy or handbag. I find my nails are often stronger and break less easily after coating them with nail varnish and so they tend to grow longer. It will be no shock to see that yet again, I have opted for a makeup product from New Look. The Matte Nail Polish in the shade mink is absolutely gorgeous. It's fairly subtle and so goes well with almost anything. Another bonus is that I find it also dries incredibly quickly!
So, that's it guys! The second part to my Favourite Beauty Products. I hope you enjoyed it. Feel free to let me know which beauty products are your favourite, even if I haven't mentioned them on here as I am always looking for new thing to try.

Favourite Beauty Products 1
Hey Internet Friends,
First of all I'm so sorry for not posting in ages. I just haven't had any inspiration at all and any ideas I've had just don't seem good enough. Secondly, I hope you've all had a lovely holiday season and happy new year! Now, on with the beauty products!
Exfoliators
It's incredibly important to use exfoliators every now and then to help remove dead, dry skin which helps make your skin feel much smoother. This can help unblock pores which is beneficial for your appearance as it means you're less likely to break out with spots and blackheads. It can also help makes pores appear less noticeable.
For my face, I use the Tea Tree Exfoliating Scrub from Superdrug. Costing just £3.29 for 75ml, it is brilliant for keeping those pesky spots at bay, without being too harsh on skin. It contains tea tree and peppermint oils as well as granules of walnut shell to give your face a thorough cleanse.
For the rest of my body I have recently started using the Blueberry Body Scrub-Gelee from The Body Shop. For a 200ml tub, this body scrub usually costs £13.00, however it is currently reduced to £6.50 and so is an absolute bargain. Again, it's gentle on the skin but helps cleanse incredibly well. It has an amazing blueberry smell, but isn't sickly or overpowering as certain products often can be.

Moisturisers
If you want to keep balance in your skin and keep it super soft, its a good idea to use moisturiser daily. It can work brilliantly as a base for makeup and also works as a barrier for your skin to retain the required amount of moisture.
Before applying my makeup, every morning I apply Superdrug's Tea Tree Moisturising Face Cream. It costs £3.29 for 30ml but lasts absolutely ages as a little goes a long way. The pump on it makes it super easy to get the right amount you need each time without using too much. It's perfect if you are prone to spots or have fairly oily skin like me.
Foundation and Concealer
A few months ago I discovered the Pure Colour makeup range at New Look and have fallen in love with it. I didn't have very high expectations to begin with due to the fairly cheap prices, however after using some of the products I fell in love with them and now I mainly purchase my makeup from there.
The foundation I use is the Pure Colour Liquid Foundation which costs just £4.99 for 35ml. This is an incredibly reasonable price for such a good quality foundation. It is a semi-matte foundation that provides medium coverage and is oil free and enriched with vitamin E to keep your skin looking fabulous. It can ve applied so easily and doesn't look cakey at all.

Sleepover Bag - Things You Must Pack
Hey Internet Friends,
As I recently went to my BFF's house for a sleepover, I thought I'd tell you what I think are must haves for your sleepover bag!
First of all, you need your basics. Clothes, PJ's, makeup, toothbrush, shoes, etc. I also like to pack dry shampoo incase my hair looks limp and greasy the next day.
Sweet and chocolate are also a must have for any sleepover! They're perfect for munching on while watching your favourite films.
Finally, I like to pack my phone so I can take plenty of selfies with my bestie. Whether they're nice ones or silly ones, its always good to have something to look back on.

Bedroom Beauty
Hey Internet Friends!
Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy my first post.
Bored of your bedroom being plain and boring? Well with these tips and ideas, your bedroom will be looking stunning in the blink of an eye.
Themes
Pick a single colour and use this as the theme for your room. You can find things like rugs, lamps, curtains and paint in this colour as it helps tie everything together. Use different shades to add variety to your room and make it more interesting. I think colour themes are great as you can make your room more personal.
Another theme idea is to pick something you love and find items that represent it. For example, if you love sea life, you can get blue curtains and rugs to represent the sea, paint sea creatures on the walls, hang up pictures and maybe even find fish cushions!
Painting
If it's fine with the owner of the house, paint your room! You can choose any colour(s) you like. A top tip is to choose a light or pastel colour. This makes you room brighter and seem bigger. Another tip for making your room look bigger is to have an accent wall. This is where just one wall is painted in the colour of your choice and the rest are painted in a neutral colour (like white, cream or stone).
Plants
An easy way to add colour to any room is by using plants. Choose a pot and flower that matches the colours in your room and place on a windowsill. Not very good at remembering to water a plant? Why not get a cactus? They come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes, meaning they will fit into even the smallest of rooms. They don't take much looking after, yet still bring in nature and colour.
Photographs
Personalise your room with photos! You could place them in frames around your room to decorate shelves and desks, or you could just stick them to a wall and create a huge memorial! This way you can have all your memories on display instead of hiding them away in photo albums that get forgotten about.
Windowsills
Now, windowsills always tend to look empty and boring. If yours does then why not decorate it? Find objects that match the theme of your room and display them for everyone to see. Large paperweights and different shaped pots always look brilliant and are so easy to find. You could always get an unusual shaped bottle and fill it with plastic flowers to create your very own feature. Glass items are also perfect as they reflect the light coming in from the window and occasionally create rainbows on the walls. So, what are you waiting for? Go to your local stores and charity shops and get rummaging! You never know, you might find a bargain!
Love and Hugs,
